About us
THE ALBANIAN-ITALIAN PEDIATRIC SOCIETY (A.I.P.S.) was founded in the International hotel of Tirana on October 12, 2023.
That scientific society has in fact had an important role between Italian and Albanian pediatrician's communities. The working relationship and the scientific collaboration between Italian and Albanian pediatricians are powerful and positive. This first meeting is the evidence of our active collaboration.
Our new Society is very important in the European Union as a further testament to the fact that Europe is a big branch of people and cultures, and at the same time has the function to aggregate people with their own cultures, professionalism, experience and scientific know how.
We think that the concrete realization of these could turn out to be a model system to help European pediatricians to work together.
That cooperation addresses the objectives such us:
- a way to limit the differences existing between Regions, Countries and social classes;
- maintaining a cultural level such that scientific progress can be applied to the changing needs of children and adolescents;
- promoting, organizing and practicing an excellent system of continuous pediatric education;
- and last but not least, maintaining a strong link between research, teaching and healthcare.
Every four years the new Directory of the Society will be elected.
WE HAVE TO MUCH TO WORK AND TO ORGANIZE, BUT WE'LL HAVE THE WILL, THE TENACIOUS, THE PRIDE, THE STRENGTH AND THE ABILITY TO SUPPORT OUR IDEAS, AND WITH YOUR ACTIVE COLLABORATION THAT NEW SOCIETY WILL BE A GOOD FUTURE!!
